About the instructor  Bei Bei He is a internationally renowned Guzheng performer, composer and educator. She received her professional education in the Guzheng performance from the Central University of Nationalities in Beijing and the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts from several Guzheng masters such as Li-jing Sha, Mulan Hai, Chun-jiang Teng, and Ling-zi Xu. She is a multi-award winner for many national and international competitions such as 1999 College Students Art Festival in Beijing and The 1st Dragon Cup International Gu Zheng Competition in 2001.She has performed through out the United States and Canada. She has released multiple individual and collaborative albums since 2006. In 2008, Bei Bei wrote and published a bilingual Guzheng learning texbook “Guzheng Sessions Vol.1”.
